Face Packs For Dry Skin

Face packs are a great way to fastly soothen your dry skin and nurture and rehydrate it. Many face packs contain fruits or vegetables – these have natural enzymes that help to balance your skin and clean it.

Many face masks contain honey or milk. This is because they have natural moisturisers that can easily help the skin to refresh.

For each face pack I always wrote out the exact guidelines. Please not that when I say “leave there until it dries” I don’t mean that it’s totally dry and forms a crust – it should just dry a bit compared to how it was when you just put it on. So, the face masks should always be a little moist when you wash them off. Otherwise, if you let them dry too much they will become crusty and “hold on” to your skin and can again put stress on your skin when washing off.

Also, you should not use any soap after using a facemask. Just don’t wash your face with soap after you used a facemask, at least for 5 hours, but preferable for the whole day.

Egg Yolk Milk face pack

Beat one egg yolk and mix it with one teaspoon of milk powder and half a teaspoon of honey. It should become a medium-thick paste.

For this face pack you can choose which fruit you like to use: apple, avocado, banana, carrot, pear, melon or nectarine.
Just mash the fruit and add something to make it a little firmer (either clay, oat flour, fruit pectin or agar agar).
